School Transition

There is support available to ease the transition for young people and their parents/carers who are moving from Primary School (Year 6) to Comprehensive School (Year 7)

Transition Workers work with the children during the year and there are Transition Events where the young people get together, have fun, make friends and have the opportunity to discuss their fears or concerns or share their experiences if they are now in year 7 and have already made the transition.

There is a series of events throughout the year, information will be distributed via the schools Transition Workers, please encourage your child to attend as these events really do help them to settle.
